Annual GA trip with Mom and Jess Anne

A couple of weeks ago my mom, sister and I took our 2nd annual shopping trip to GA.  Mom and Jess came up on Friday evening so we could get a bright and early start on Saturday.  We had a lot to accomplish before heading home on Sunday.  We finally got away from home around 8:00.  It was totally my fault that we were later leaving which is a little comical since Jess and I had really been hard timing my mom about how long it takes her to get ready to go somewhere.  First stop......Dahlonega for lunch.  This is the cutest quaintest town ever!  I would seriously move there in a moments notice.  There is a college there......maybe they need a recruiter?  Now I just need to work on finding Todd a job!  We ate lunch at this really cute little cafe on the town square. We looked in a couple of the shops but then it was off to the North GA Outlets for some serious shopping! And that is exactly what we did......SHOP.  We closed the outlet mall down.  Can I tell you that Emily Stewart racked up!  Aunt Jess did her share of damage as well.  Now it's late and we are hungry so we start in the direction of Atlanta looking for food. After quite the little adventure (I won't go into it b/c you really had to be there to appreciate it) we finally end up at my favorite pizza place in the entire world.....Fellini's.  The one on Peachtree.  We had fun yucking it up with some gay guys (it was Gay Pride weekend in Atlanta) and then off to The Omni for some much needed rest. Sunday we all slept in before going to Atlanta Station for lunch at Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro and yet more shopping! When we got back to Birmingham Granna and Aunt Jess hung out with Emily so that Todd and I could go out on a date (btw, thanks honey for parenting solo so I could go on my trip).  Aren't they the best! It was a wonderful weekend.  One that I will cherish always.  We have the best time on our trips and I look forward to many more in the upcoming years!

Hugs,
Keely
