Mums, Flags and Fall Festivals

Have I mentioned how much I love love love fall? Everything about it....halloween, thanksgiving, fall foliage, scarecrows, mums, football, sweatshirts and the list goes on and on.
So I was at the farmer's market the other day.  I love the farmer's market.  But I especially love it this time of year.  Tons of pumpkins, mums, corn and gourds. So I am at the farmer's market the other day and y'all......I found the biggest, fattest, bushiest mums I have ever seen.  For $12!!!!! But I sweet talked the old man into giving it to me for $10. I bought the prettiest pale yellow colored mum for the front yard.  Love it so much that I may go back to get another.
We have an American flag that hangs outside the house.  I have on occasion mentioned that I might get some type of "seasonal" flag b/c you all know how I love seasonal stuff (man, I am lovin a lot of stuff these days).  Todd won't even talk about it. But I had a brilliant idea.....really don't know why I haven't thought of it before now. One of those small little garden flags!  So Emmie and I hurried down to Lowe's while daddy was out of town and we bought ourselves a little flag holder and a scarecrow flag!

Hug,
Keely

Todd says that you have to have a pumpkin
with a good stem.  I would say this qualifies!
A gals gotta have a Roll Tide Pumpkin!
Isn't that thing gorgeous!

Our fall decorations!  That pumpkin is a gourd
that Maw Maw (my stepmother, Linda) painted.
Isn't she the best!

Our fall flag!  Em did a great job picking it out!
