While in Nashville I drove to Murfreesboro to meet with the pre health advisor at Middle TN State University. It just so happens my cousin, Lisa, and her family live in Murfreesboro! I contacted her before heading north and she graciously offered to feed me a home cooked meal if I would stop by. So after my meeting I headed on over. Both her daughters, Amy and Lauren, were there. All grown up and both beautiful young women! I was also able to meet Lauren's boyfriend, Jonathan.....absolutely precious! We all visited for a while and then John (Lisa's husband) came home from work. The last time I saw Lisa was a couple of years ago at another cousin's baby tea and I had not seen John or the girls since my Granny Luna's funeral 6 years ago. However, they all made me feel so welcome in their home and I enjoyed catching up with everyone.
Thanks Lisa for the wonderful dinner! Can I have the lemon cake recipe? And thanks to the rest of the Barnett's (including Jonathan) for the warm welcome! Love y'all!
