Sunday and Monday it snowed here in Alabama. Not the yucky everybody runs out to buy milk and bread and we're all stuck in the house for who knows how long because we can't drive on the roads. But the kind of snow that most of us Southerners really like. The flurries! The best of snow......you get the excitement of watching it fall but life goes on as usual since it isn't sticking to the ground. Because as everyone knows.....here in the South life stops with the first flake that actually accumulates. Beautiful big flakes falling to the ground. The kind that make it easy to try and catch them on your tongue. Em and I looked pretty silly doing this in Target parking lot late Sunday afternoon. It was so fun! I've often said that I love rainbows that they are like a "happy" from God. A nice little surprise that He blesses us with. Well come to find out my sweet little girl feels the same way about snow. She told me on Sunday that snow was like rainbows.....God sending her a little "happy". So here's hoping that you all get to enjoy a little "happy" this holiday season.
Hugs,
Keely
