So two weeks ago I attended the North Alabama Christian Women's Conference. It was awesome! The committee (Dana, Wendy, Judy, Monica, Patsy and honorary member Jill) who put this conference together do an excellent job and they seriously are the best group of women! Ann Nunnally was our teacher for the weekend and she did a fabulous job! This woman is so anointed. If you EVER have an opportunity to attend one of her conferences I promise you will be blessed. I learned a lot about sowing my seeds! Most of us have heard for the better part of our lives....."you reap what you sow". Well this study really brought that all to light. Ann's son, Jamie, lead Praise and Worship with some assistance from Dana and Jill. It was truly amazing! There was also a wonderful guest speaker, Leslie Everhart, and some beautiful music by, Tawana Lowery. God showed up and worked not only in my life but in the lives of many people that I care about. So can I get an, Amen?
My girlfriend, Missy, came down from Nashville and attended the conference with me which was great fun. Although Nashville is not far with work, family and other obligations it's hard for us to find time to get together. And it rarely ever happens without children. So it was a lot of fun for us to enjoy almost 48 hours of "big girl time". We ate....ALOT, shopped some, and talked.....ALOT. But the best part was being able to worship together with other God fearing, Jesus loving women; many of whom I have known for a very long time. There were lots of women from my home church there, there were mothers of people that I attended high school with and family members. I also made some new friends.....Sistas in Christ!
