Dove Day, Roll Tide and a Sweatshirt!

Yesterday was Dove Day. Translated that means that it was the opening day of dove season but Emily and I just call it Dove Day. That seems easier. We have a Dove Day tradition which is go to the Draper's house in Cullman and spend the day. The guys hunt, the big girls visit and the little girls wear themselves out playing so hard. Then we cookout and all eat. It's always a lot of fun and something that we seriously look forward to every year.
Bama won last night. I was not able to watch it on television. I was not able to listen to it on the radio.....that one was hard. I did see highlights LATE last night. The only thing that really matters is that they won! Rollllll Tide! Oh and watch out for Trent Richardson. He's a kid out of Pensacola and I am told by a reliable source that he is very good.
Yesterday evening I stepped outside at Drapers and it was cool. I mean seriously cool. It wasn't dark out yet but the sun had already gone down. And they live out in the country so it's always a tad cooler there than it is here in Birmingham. But y'all......I had to put my sweatshirt on! I was so excited!
So I think that Saturday, September the 4th was a good day.....it was Dove Day, Bama won and I was able to wear a sweatshirt without breaking a sweat!

Hugs,
Keely
