So this was a busy weekend. Emily's dance recital on Saturday and then Mother's Day on Sunday. This was a great day! My sweet mother was here spending the weekend with us so that was a special treat. It isn't every year that the two of us get to spend Mother's Day together. And now that I am a mom I have an appreciation for my mother that I couldn't have before Emily. Todd cooked us breakfast.....pancakes and bacon, my favorite.....and then we headed off to church. After church I went with my mom over to visit my Maw Maw and we enjoyed a nice visit. When I left there I caught up with the Stewart's, Mayfield's, Gann's, Hardee's, Donaldson's, Powell's and Hubbert's for a picnic. We had a great time and enjoyed spending the afternoon with some of the people that we love most! I hope that each of you enjoyed your special day as well!
