Beach Trip

So sorry that I am just posting pictures from our trip to the beach.  A couple of weeks ago (April 23rd) Emily and I headed down to the Parsons condo in Orange beach with Rhonda and Kasey Jane.  We left at 9:00 Friday morning and after stopping for doughnuts, getting gas and paying the water bill we were on our way.  Kasey Jane needed to eat so we stopped in Jemison.  The moment we got in the car Emily starts complaining of being hungry but we made her wait until Greenville (I know, we're mean but she had snacks!) where we stopped for lunch.  Then Em had to use the restroom and then Kasey Jane needed a diaper change.  Oops, then Kasey Jane needed another diaper change.  FINALLY at about 4:00 we arrived at our destination.  It started getting cloudy around Robertsdale and by the time we reached the condo the wind was blowing so hard that I seriously wondered if hurricane season had come early and no one told me.  We unloaded and decided that we would try to make our grocery run before the rain started.  No chance so Rhonda stayed with the girls and I headed off to Publix with list in hand.  We ordered take out from the Shrimp Basket for dinner and it was so yummy!  My sweet mom and sister showed up around 9:00 Friday night to spend the night with us.  Saturday morning.....still raining.  So we swam at the indoor pool for a while then got ready for lunch.  Lambert's here we come!  After a very filling lunch (have you ever eaten their fried taters.....so tasty!) we headed off to the outlets for a little shopping.  Mom and Jess left around 5:00 headed back home while Rhonda and I continued on shopping.  For dinner we ate leftovers and snacked.  Emily was so excited when we woke up Sunday morning to sunshine!  It was a beautiful day.  We sat on the beach and never broke a sweat although it was warm enough to be comfortable.  The girls played and Rhonda and I chatted away.  It's been years since we've been on a trip together and I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy it.  For dinner we headed decided to go back to the Shrimp Basket because it was so good.  We all got dressed and off we went.  Monday morning we packed up and headed home.  It was a wonderful trip and we enjoyed Rhonda and Kasey Jane so much!  Love you girls!
