The past week has been pretty busy for us and the Stewart family was scattered here and there but we are finally all back together under one roof and that feels good! Todd left last Tuesday for OK with Draper to turkey hunt. They headed to TN on Friday and finally returned home on Monday. We both agree that 6 days is a long time to be apart! I left on Friday for business in Atlanta. Made a short stop in Jacksonville on the way. Stopped for a lunch meeting at Effina's Tuscan Grill.......delicious! I stayed in a great new hotel, Loew's, in Midtown. If you have an opportunity to stay there I highly recommend it! I was lucky enough to have dinner with Gramps at Felini's on Friday night. He has been working in Atlanta for almost two years and it's always a nice treat when we get to see him there. We miss him lots! Thanks for hanging out with me, Gramps, I had a great time! Saturday I headed over to GA Tech for the career fair and then back to B'ham to get my girl! I celebrated my birthday (Saturday) with Emily, my step dad and my brother. It was such a treat to see them on my birthday since I rarely ever get to spend a birthday with them. Sunday we picked up Lane Cullighan from her grandparents and took off to Athens to meet Missy and Miller for lunch and a little shopping! It was a wonderful day! If Missy and I weren't so nutty I would have pictures to post but we are.....so. Lane and Emily had a great time and Miller is the best baby ever! We don't get together often enough and never seem to have enough time when we do. I miss you, my friend.
Yesterday was Aunt T's birthday! Happy birthday, Tara! I am sorry that I wasn't there to help you celebrate. I heard that the Hardee burgers were great and that you all had a good time. I am glad to hear it and I hope that you know how very much we all love you! I have posted some pictures below from last night's birthday celebration. Enjoy!
Hugs,
Keely
