Happy New Year! It's hard to believe, that ready or not, 2013 is here. My New Year's resolution is to not make a New Year's resolution. Been there done that and I am going to pass this year. Very few people actually stick to their resolutions (myself included) and who needs the failure, right? I did however, eat black eyed peas, collard greens, pork chops and corn bread for supper. For those of you not from or currently living in the South you may not know that those foods represent good luck and riches in the upcoming year (and supper means dinner....except on Sunday when dinner is lunch) Isn't it great......it's like our own little country down here! I have heard that whatever it is you are doing on New Year's Day that is what you will be doing all year. Well I spent the day lazing around and relaxing with Todd and the kids followed by an evening with the Stewart/Hardee/Donaldson clan. We also had a surprise visit from Aunt Jo and two of the Mayfield clan (Lori and Trent). So if I can get more of that this year bring it on!
I wish you enough in 2013.
Hugs,
Keely
