First Day of Third Grade

So yesterday was the first day of 3rd grade!  Emily has Ms. Cara Killian for 3rd grade.  She is young, very sweet and full of energy and enthusiasm.  We are looking forward to a good year!  Ms. Killian has a great discipline and reward system so things should go well.  Emily says she is excited to do Social Studies and Science this year.  Em hoped right up out of bed and got ready for school.  She tends to be a little anxious sometimes but she did well.  When we got in the car headed to school she started worrying about where she would meet Ms. Killian to go to class.  But once I reminded her to ask an adult if she did not see her teacher when she entered the gym she seemed to relax a little. Below are pictures from the first day.  I must be honest and admit that they were taken that afternoon and not that morning.  We ran out the door at 7:10 to get everyone where they were supposed to be on time and well......I forgot!  But we did take them that afternoon and those are the clothes that she wore!
