Yesterday we had a doctor visit. All went well and I am happy to report that Baby Boy Stewart and I are both doing just fine. His heart rate was 140 and I am measuring 35 weeks although I am will be 31 weeks on Sunday. So the doctor says that he is probably going to be a big healthy boy. Having said that I was thrilled to find out yesterday that I have only gained 24 pounds so far; I would have guessed much higher! Once I start my weekly visits they will do an u/s to find out how big he is and try to estimate how big he may be when he arrives. I now start visits every two weeks so my next appointment is August 4th. It's amazing how quickly this pregnancy is flying by. In the beginning I felt so miserable that I thought it would never end and now I can't believe that in a little over 2 months he will be here! I have so much to do before this little bean arrives so I've got to get on the ball!
Also, Aunt Toni and Jake are doing well and progressing on target. I believe that Toni is about 33, maybe 34 weeks along now. So it will not be long at all before little Jake makes his grand appearance! I for one cannot wait to meet him! Tara and baby Hardee are also doing quite well. Aunt T is 17 weeks which seems completely insane to me. It's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that she is already almost half way there!
And I have a thank you to send out! My girlfriend, Amanda Hockenberry (a former neighbor of ours) was in Fultondale yesterday for a visit and she left me some wonderful surprises! Finished having babies and cleaning out her garage lead to many totes of boy clothes, a swing, a bouncy seat and a bumbo seat! I was so thrilled when I walked in the and saw everything in the living room! Thank you my friend, you are precious!
